The tunnel, which was built in 1930, was opened to visitors on July 1st 2018, following an investment of 1.13 million dollars (1 Million Euros).
The tunnel has a length of about 131 feet (40 meters) and has never been open to tourists before. In face most people never knew about it. Tourists will first get into an elevator that will descend over 100 feet (30 meters) through the old well, and then will have to walk another 131 feet (40 meters) through the secret underground tunnel to the Royal Park. The visit will not be included in the price of the entrance ticket to the castle.
