In a huge victory for the Boring Company and CEO Elon Musk, the test tunnel being constructed from the Boring Company headquarters in Hawthorne has finished three weeks ahead a schedule and is now ready for testing.
Musk announced in a tweet that the tunnel is set to be open to the public come December 10th, 2018 and will be open to any brave members of the public who want free rides to check it out. We’re so there!
The track runs about three miles total, heading North from the company headquarters in Hawthorne and ending somewhere West. However, the tunnel path isn’t quite as important as figuring out if the high speed electric skate system running through it will be a success.
